Writing History.
During more than fifty years we have been together. Our parents have been a marvelous source of inspiration and example. They have been always working for their own family project and have had a very sound success in both rising their cubs and making of them excellent professionals in the engineering domain. Mother, apart from becoming a very well considered demoiselle in her youngness because of her excellent social abilities and finest education, worked in the banking sector and studied fine arts at the same time. Later on she moved to work in engineering Bechtel Company, where, during the development of the nuclear industry in Spain, during the decade of the nineteen seventies she knew Father, who was already working as a prominent Nuclear Engineer for the utilities. Papa, with both titles Engineering and Economics has developed a very relevant task in Catalonia and in overall in Spain, devoting much of his time as well to the Engineer’s Association and College, taking active part in its development and defense of the Engineers’ guild. Much we deserve to these two people, who do what they love and love what they do.
Many are the stories and adventures we have lived together, always with both parents working one for the other and sharing the same fate, so as we, their children still love to learn something when we have the opportunity to be still advised and be still briefed for some reason. Nowadays we work all together and our family, with plenty of professionalism has become an Engineering Firm, ready to face barely any kind of challenge.
We have had the opportunity to witness ensemble at the same time how the world has been changing during almost half a century, them both, the family core, firmly attracted as atomic nuclei; even longer. We have lived and experienced how society has evolved based on the changes generated by the fast paced evolution of electronics, which has colonized almost every corner of human life nowadays. Furthermore, societal changes that we have observed have been a consequence of the inequalities and injustices in the World, which we attribute to the difficult access to Energy and other Basic Resources for the most part of the population of the World. To help to make available and give opportunity for developing projects that might have a positive impact in that sense as well as which could be beneficial for the Global Wellness being and which may protect the Natural Environment it has been one of our Leiv Motifs. One of the directives that well educated Mama brought us from the other coast of the Atlantic Ocean; while Dad contributed also always to the company with the most recent and latest knowledge and Savoir-Faire across the technological and industrial domains. That is the way they raised us and how them have contributed to allow the others to raise as well their own companies and families in equality and justice.
The latter came all accordingly. The natural cycles of life and renewal. Nowadays the company is getting bigger by numbers and from the point of view of the surveys it going to have a promising success in the near future, and it is being told by the opinion of the most respected experts, in coincidence with what it should be by common sense; that if the main culture of the firm, established already by the previous generations, it is to be respected, the future should be almost assured. Always one might have in mind that is good practice to control the growth of the company, by avoiding superfluous fixed expenses and avoiding as well to fall in uncomfortable debt.
